Riri’s journey takes a complex turn when she becomes entangled with Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood (Anthony Ramos). The Hood, a charismatic figure with a crew of misfits, possesses a magical cloak that grants him dark powers. He recruits Riri to join his gang in carrying out heists, offering her the financial means to continue developing her technology. This uneasy alliance forces Riri into a conflict where technology clashes with magic, and she must confront her own morality and the temptations that arise from a desperate need for resources. The series delves into themes of grief, legacy, socioeconomic strife, and the unique challenges faced by a young genius trying to find her place in a world grappling with both advanced technology and ancient mystical forces.
