However, the film takes a darker turn when Dabloo Pandey kidnaps, rapes, and murders a teenage girl who refused to give up her land, staging it as a suicide. This horrific act awakens B.N. Singh’s conscience, leading him to confront Dabloo.

This incident sparks a massive riot in the town, pushing the oppressed villagers to take matters into their own hands, leading to a wave of extrajudicial killings. Abha struggles to maintain law and order amidst this public uprising, which is a direct reflection of their deep-seated frustration with the corrupt system.
