“Mistry” is a new Hindi crime drama web series that premiered on JioHotstar on June 27, 2025. It is an official Indian adaptation of the popular American mystery-comedy-drama series “Monk.”The series centers on Armaan Mistry (played by Ram Kapoor), a brilliant former detective with the Mumbai Police who has been suspended under mysterious circumstances. Armaan suffers from severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), which manifests as extreme germophobia, a need for symmetry, and various phobias. While these quirks are often a hindrance in his daily life, they paradoxically become his greatest asset in solving crimes.
